Description

A beautiful fine hand-woven modern Agra carpet from India using all natural dyes and hand-spun wool.  The design is an open variation of an antique Indian Agra design, with a large scale floral palmette design and large cloud-band motifs.  In a rare square size, even for a modern rug, as more often they are woven rectangular in shape.

Hand-woven with amazing natural dyes, soft pale blues and greens, with a sandy yellow tone background.  Deep reds, bold blues and golden yellow small scale border, the off white tones and pale greens and pinks are wonderful additional colours.

This production of contemporary carpets can be bespoke made to many varying sizes and colour specifications.

These modern carpets are extremely tough and a production we have sold for over 25 years.  The quality is exceptional, with a dense high wool pile and can withstand constant use in any room.
