This contemporary Agra carpet was woven in Afghanistan within the last couple of years, we hand select designs and specific pieces to join our inventory that have been made using the best materials. The ground colour of this modern Agra carpet is an unusual deep burgundy tone which varies throughout the carpet, the weavers have used subtle muted pinks and green tones for the design of flowers and leaves.

The natural ivory border lifts the palette of this carpet too and is a good contrasting colour. Contemporary carpets with traditional designs are available in a vast amount of different qualities, this particular piece is a finer type and extremely hard wearing. We have been selling this production for a over 10 years now and it has been very popular, they are extremely durable and decorative carpets ideal for any room in the home.
