Description
A rare enormous antique Tabriz carpet woven in the 1st quarter of the 20th Century. A classical design woven with extraordinary skill and refinement. The variant of colour and elaborate floral medallion make very striking. The pile on this huge carpet is lower in places, but there has been no major damage or repairs. It is still an extremely durable and decorative carpet ideal for a large drawing room or dining room.
