This is such an example. The weave is extremely fine and has allowed this masterful carpet to be created with a such precision the classical medallion design is outstanding! Pale green corner spandrels with the natural pale colour in the main field, lighten the overall palette and make this a light subtle carpet which would be wonderful to decorate with. In very good condition throughout, with only minimal low areas of pile. There has been no damage to this carpet and no major areas have been restored. It has been professionally washed by ourselves and it is ready to be shown in situ or shipped.
