Antique Heriz rug with a single geometric medallion surrounded by a repeating leaf and vine border. Woven using soft wool on a woollen foundation these tribal rugs have a lot of character. In very good original condition. A softer rust/terracotta main field with pale blues and muted yellows too. A the pile is very high on this rug and there are no repairs to speak of. An attractive antique persian rug ideal for many rooms.
