Description

Pictorial rugs are now becoming rarer to find,  this one is in very good condition having been in a private collection for many years.  The rug was woven in the Persian town of Kirman and also has the additional benefit of part of the pile being woven with silk.  The silk reflects the light and is wonderfully apparent in evening lamp light.

. . .

Kirman has long been a town dedicated to carpet weaving in the south east of Persia for a long time.  Kirman rugs are always high quality, woven on a cotton foundation.

We offer the service of viewing any of our carpets & rugs in-situ in London, Surrey, Hampshire & the UK by appointment. Please contact us using the enquire form below.
