A new Agra design rug, hand-woven with hand-spun natural wool and beautiful natural dyes. These contemporary rugs are produced using classical antique rug designs from India.
Antique Agra rugs from the late 19th century woven in India are very collectable and expensive rugs. These new reproductions are really wonderful with rich natural colours and look amazing in the right room setting. A large scale floral palmette design has been used with detailed vines and scroll work, an elegant rug like this could easily sit happily in a contemporary or traditional setting.
These contemporary rugs and carpets are woven in workshops in Afghanistan by a family run business who we have been dealing with directly for over 20 years, they produce these ancient designs with the dyes and designs we choose to our own specifications. We can also have bespoke designs woven to your specifications.
