One pale blue contemporary Sultanabad runner using designs from the famous Ziegler carpets and rugs woven in the late 19th century in Persia. Hand-woven using natural dyes and soft wool, this contemporary runner is a lovely small size and supplied with our sturdy underlay to keep it safe on the floor.
We do have a pair to this runner – Ref: 9424 which is almost identical, just slightly smaller at 276 cm long. You can see them sitting side by side in the additional images.
We have a large collection of Contemporary Sultanabad runners and carpets all hand-woven using muted natural pale dyes of blues, greys, greens, pinks and gentle reds these are wonderful modern rugs to place into any room. The weave and the height of the pile has been cut making them look like subtle faded antique runners.
