A very fine antique Veramin rug from the early 20th Century.  In sublime condition, with a soft full height wool pile all over this elegant antique rug.  Using the classical repeating ‘Mina-Khani’ floral pattern, it has an array of wonderful dyes. Veramin rugs and carpets are famous for this design known as Mina-Khani, which is flowers connected by vines and using soft pinks, blues and yellow.  A very beautiful and decorative antique rug which is in excellent condition, no damage or restoration and with good underlay we provide it would be a sturdy beautiful rug for the floor.

Woven around circa 1910-1920 Veramin is a town located in the south of Tehran.

Veramin carpets and rugs are woven in city of Varamin and its surrounding area which are among the most famous carpets in the world. Many rug and carpet experts see Veramins as being among those Persian carpets most authentic in terms of traditional style and motifs. The most common design among Veramin rugs is the “Mina Khani” design which is the design we see in this delightful fine rug.
