Description
A beautiful hand-woven modern Afghan rug, using natural dyes and an amazing antique Caucasian Chelaberd or sunburst design. Great vibrant colours, using greens, pale blues, ivory tones. Ideal to brighten up a room and with our excellent rug underlay which is included it will stay secure to the floor.
These carpets are woven in workshops in Afghanistan by a family run business who we have been dealing with directly for over 15 years, they produce these designs with the dyes we choose to our own specifications.

Having been producing beautiful quality contemporary hand-made carpets since 1990 all our carpets and rugs use hand-spun wool and natural dyes woven within a fair trade weaving scheme to help aid the end of illegal child labour. Every modern hand-made carpet we import is part of the Care and Fair scheme which you can read more about here – Care and Fair.
