A wonderful Antique Malayer runner in a very unusual and fabulous narrow size. This runner is both incredibly narrow and very long – a combination that you don’t find very often. This is also a very handsome runner, with a repeating ‘boteh’ design throughout and the condition is good with most of the wool pile very high all over.
Most runners you see this narrow size are wider runners that have been reduced in width – this piece on the other hand has not be altered in anyway, it was almost certainly made for a specific commission.
