A red bordered Agra rug with cypress trees surrounding the border, a very pretty design. The willow trees at either end are rather unusual too.
A modern Agra rug with a rich deep red border and gold tone background in the main field. The willow tree design can be seen at both ends of the rug along with other stylised floral motifs and leaves. A warm and inviting new rug hand-woven using natural dyes and hand-spun wool. These contemporary rugs are extremely durable as well as decorative.
These modern Agra design rugs are hand-woven in Afghanistan and imported through Pakistan, we have been selling new rugs from these locations for over 15 years. Dealing directly with the families who weave them, the process is the same as the antique weavings.
