An exquisite new production Amritsar design carpet, all hand-woven using the best materials. With a cotton foundation and the highest quality hand-spun wool, the pile of this new Amritsar carpet is luxurious underfoot and combined with the best natural dyes, this is one of the best productions of new hand-woven carpets available.
This fine weave would have taken around 14-16 months to weave, and becoming increasingly rare to find new productions of antique carpets in this quality. The antique design is taken from ancient Agra and Amritsar carpets which were woven in India in the 19th century. With large scale motifs of floral patterns and leaves, this is an elegant recreation with amazing warmth, the reds and greens are sublime with subtle tones of pale blue and pink to balance the palette.
