This beautiful Baktiari rug has a design known as the “Garden” design with wonderful roses and cypress trees! Plus we can see beautifully drawn Parrots in the border design. Woven in an area called Feridan which is a small administrative district on the Armenian northern edge of the province. Parrots figure prominently in their weavings, and they are quite beautiful! Look at the border design to count them all. Fabulous bright pinks, soft yellows and greens all over, used beautifully on the roses too.
