Description
An antique Hamadan runner woven in North-West of Persia, woven around circa 1900, rich colours using a reddish brown border and a lovely pale blue main background. Lovely natural dyes of pinks, greens and pale blues have been used for the flowing floral design running down the main centre of this small size runner. Condition is very nice, a fine weave and an excellent wool pile all over. A rare antique runner in a hard to find small size.
