A very good Heriz carpet in superb condition all over, the colours are very rich in tone, with a very deep indigo border. We have professionally washed this carpet and the colours have really cleaned up spectacularly. Most antique Heriz carpets were woven with a central medallion motif and elaborate corner spandrels. This carpet is more refined and woven with the repeating all over leaves.
