We have a large collection of beautiful antique Kilim cushions and antique carpet cushions, all hand-made using antique pieces of kilim and carpet. Filled with feather inserts and backed with either corduroy or linen, they have been expertly made. Great old natural antique colours and beautifully hand-stitched and filled with a feather cushion insert. All of our antique cushions have been hand-stitched using the best materials and inserts.
The rugs are woven in the city itself and the surrounding villages. Starting in the early 17th century, their name was renowned throughout Europe – this has continued to the present day. Although rug making was interrupted by the Afghan invasion, it quickly re-established itself as a major centre for the finest handmade carpets.
