Description
A lovely small, deep indigo blue, antique Erivan rug woven in the Caucasus. In nice condition with soft wool pile. Erivan’s are one of our favourite tribal Caucasian weavings, easily recognisable by their unique palette of varying indigo dyes, always using this wonderful petrol blue colour alongside an orangey madder dye. The wool used in Erivans is also always very lovely and soft, a really exquisite early 20th century tribal Caucasian rug.
