Description
A quite fabulous rare small antique Persian Tabriz carpet in near perfect condition. A small Tabriz of this quality in this size is very difficult to find and we love the open field of this particular carpet with the classical medallion design. The dyes used are all fabulous, with soft blues and yellows used throughout, creating such a classic looking carpet.
Condition wise, the carpet is in superb original condition with only a few small old repairs. It has been professionally cleaned by ourselves and the ends/fringes secured, but that is simply all that needed doing, so it’s ready to be used and enjoyed.
Woven in the late 19th century this Tabriz and generally any woven around 1880-1910 have always been sought after classical Persian carpets, a rare and beautiful piece.
