This rich and warm contemporary rug is woven with lovely natural dyes of red, cream, and a blue/green border and biscuit tones using all hand-spun wool. These rugs have found homes in hallway entrances, drawing rooms, bedrooms and even playroom and have always enhanced a space. These traditional Mamluk designs come from Egyptian carpets from the 16th century, some of the earliest examples of Mamluk carpets reside in the Victoria and Albert museum in London they are truly stunning!
