This beautiful hand-woven modern Ziegler carpet uses designs from the famous carpets woven in Persia, Sultanabad in the late 19th century, Ziegler and Sultanabad have long been names associated with the most decorative and beautiful carpets. Vivid design and golden dyes, full of character and colour. A very fine weave on this modern carpet, hand-woven by weavers in Afghanistan, it would take 7-9 months to produce a carpet of this size and quality.
As it is hand-produced, using the best natural wool and dyes, they are incredibly tough and can withstand constant use. Supplied with our sturdy underlay, this carpet is ideal for a drawing room, study, bedroom or entrance hall.

Having been producing beautiful quality contemporary hand-made carpets since 1990 all our carpets and rugs use hand-spun wool and natural dyes woven within a fair trade weaving scheme to help aid the end of illegal child labour.
