Description
A rare and stunning Antique Kuba Kelleh in fantastic original condition, this Kelleh is finely woven using beautiful natural dyes. In the border there is a lovely abrash, turning from blue to a lovely green. Also there are large stylised birds woven in each of the corners along with smaller birds throughout. Kuba is a rug producing town located in the north-east of the Caucasus next to the Caspian Sea. The port of Baku in Kuba had its own school for carpet-making.
