A contemporary Portuguese needlepoint hand-woven by craftsmen and women using the same techniques that were first exported to England centuries ago. The wool used is from New Zealand and this piece was hand-woven by Deborah Rolt in London.
The weave is still Arraiolos long-armed cross-stitch method of manufacture and all hand dyed wool using natural dyes. A beautiful palette of colours using soft lilacs, muted purple tones and greens with apricot tones. A wonderful decorative carpet to use in a variety of rooms.
