Contemporary Ushak carpet hand-woven in Turkey using similar techniques and dyes as the antique pieces. The flat weave is very similar to antique Ushak carpets, the faded green dyes are subtle and easy to live with. The soft terracotta border balances the carpets palette well and this would sit very happily in a living room, bedroom or study. A very attractive modern carpet using a traditional design.
