This contemporary Sultanabad carpet is simply stunning! With the softest collection of natural dyes, hand-spun wool and expertly cut wool pile, you could be mistaken for believing this was an antique carpet over 100 years old. The muted palette and gentle all over floral and vine design is taken from patterns woven in Sultanabad in the late 19th century, a truly timeless design. Alongside this perfect balance of pale blue tones, light grey dyes, hints of pink, golds and greens, it would be very easy to place this carpet in an existing scheme or room, or build an interior around this piece. As there are so many gentle colours to select fabrics for curtains and sofas, it would be a joy to work with.
