Description
A modern Indus carpet hand-woven in India with soft natural wool and muted dyes, and unusual dyes. The background is black and woven with rich reds and golden tones for the abstract design and beautiful floral border pattern. This was a limited production woven around the 1990-2000 period, so it is around 25 years old, and lovely to have back in our contemporary collection. It has been professionally washed by our workshop and ready to be used again. A beautiful and unusual dye palette, and bold design ideal for a room requiring character. It could look stunning under a dining table for example.

We have a vast stock of competitively priced modern carpets woven with traditional floral designs such as Ziegler and Agra as well as more contemporary rugs which can have little or no pattern.
We have been producing beautiful contemporary and traditional design hand-made carpets since 1990. All our carpets and rugs use hand-spun wool and natural dyes woven within a fair trade weaving scheme to help aid the end of illegal child labour. Produced with natural dyes to create light, easy to live with beautiful carpets.
