Sultanabad carpet

Contemporary

£6,750

Description

A lovely muted contemporary carpet using natural dyes and soft wool, hand-woven by the best weavers, the design is taken from an antique Sultanabad pattern.  The flowing leaf and palmette border is truly wonderful.  A beautiful modern carpet to enhance any room.

This contemporary carpet is woven with delicate colours, the dyes are faded yet have warmth, with an off-white background, lovely blues, sage green tones, burnt oranges, dusky pinks, the best light blues, gold hues, and hints of warmer reds, there are so many colours to work in an existing scheme or to build a room around this carpet.  It would be a lot of fun choosing fabrics to work with this wonderful carpet.

Request a home visit and we shall bring this stunning Sultanabad carpet to your own home, on a convenient day and time.  We have travelled all over the UK helping interior designers and private customers since 1990.  Our free, no obligation, professional home visit service allows you to view our carpets in your own home to make the right choice.

Or if you would like to view this carpet at our barn showroom instead, please let us know a preferred day and time you can visit, then we shall make sure the carpet is here ready for you to view.

We think this new collection of beautiful hand-woven modern Sultanabad carpets are one of the best currently being produced, with the variety of dyes, the weave and the height of the pile has been cut making them look like subtle faded antique carpets.

These are one of the best productions of contemporary carpets on the market currently, using traditional designs with an open feel, they are even better to view up close and in your home. The pile height is not too high on these Sultanabad carpets, it has been cut medium high, which helps make them look more like a faded antique carpet.  Please view all the additional images to see the colours up close.
