A warm and crisply drawn old Heriz carpet, dating from the 1930’s and in a hard to find small size. Warm reds, soft pinks, blues, greens and natural white dyes work very well with the central medallion design. Bold graphic geometric design border, striking large leaves and abstract patterns. We love Heriz carpets from the North-West of Persia, as they are full of character and interest. A deep blue almost black border completes this rich and handsome old carpet.
In general it is in good order, with only minor areas of low pile. Fringes and sides are strong and secure, plus this carpet has been professionally washed and ready to be used on the floor. Supplied with our hard wearing, anti-slip underlay included in the price.
